Applications 2025
Registrations for the 6th edition of Prangins Baroque are open until April 30, 2025. Sign up and join us for seven days of in-depth exploration of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach under the direction of our artistic team:
- Marijana Mijanović, contralto, artistic director.
- Bojan Čičić, baroque violinist.
- Steven Devine, conductor, harpsichordist.
- Marie-Nathalie Lacoursière, stage director, choreographer.
- Stéphanie Brochard, choreographer, dancer.
- Denis Jaccard, mental coach.
Selected musicians will work on:
- The technical and stylistic aspects of the musical program/li>
- The mental training techniques necessary to achieve excellence in music practice and performance
- Exploring the optimal balance between the body, the instrument, and the music
- Renaissance and Baroque-era dances
The concerts: 4 public concerts will conclude our week.
The workshops and concerts take place in the beautiful village of Prangins, located between Geneva and Lausanne in Switzerland.
The registration fee is CHF 45.-. If selected, participation is free. Lunch is included and host family accommodation (subject to availability) is available.

For instrumentalists: A solo piece by J. S. Bach of your choice, featuring a fast movement and a slow movement. You may also send us a recording of a Bach ensemble piece.
For singers: Two J. S. Bach arias, with at least one recitative preceding.
If selected, you are required to be present in Prangins for the entire duration of the festival, from Monday, September 8 at 9:00 AM to Sunday, September 14 at 9:00 PM.
