Emmanuel Resche-Caserta is a French-Italian baroque violinist. He began playing the violin at the Conservatory of Clermont-Ferrand in the class of Raphaël Chenot and discovered early music at the Conservatory of Nice. After graduating from Sciences Po Paris and studying art history, he decided to devote himself entirely to music, traveling to deepen his knowledge of the various schools of baroque violin: he studied with Pablo Valetti at the Esmuc at Barcelona, then at the Paris Conservatory with Enrico Onofri, at the Palermo Conservatory and at the Juilliard School in New York with Monica Huggett.

He made his debut on the New York stage in 2012 as concertmaster of the Juilliard 415 Orchestra under the direction of William Christie, after which the conductor hired him to Les Arts Florissants. The Franco-American conductor invited him to lead his orchestra in various productions around the world.

His double culture and his attraction for the fine arts nourish his playing and his aesthetic research. He has been invited as musical director for orchestral projects at the Paris Conservatory, with the Tchaikovsky Conservatory Baroque Orchestra in Moscow, or as a trainer at the Jeune Orchestre Atlantique in Saintes. He is regularly invited as concertmaster in ensembles such as Il Gardellino, The New Baroque Times among others.

In June 2019, Emmanuel Resche-Caserta was selected to be supported by the Jumpstart Jr. Foundation of Amsterdam and benefit from the loan of a 1675 violin by Francesco Ruggieri for 10 years.
