Biography
American-Indonesian violinist Susila Heath, praised for her soulful tone, studied at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Harald Herzl and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris with Michaël Hentz, and now pursues historically informed performance with Sophie Gent. A keen chamber musician, she has worked with members of the Hagen Quartet and the Kuss Quartet and collaborated with artists such as Maxim Vengerov and Salvatore Accardo. She is a founding member of Eucharis Strings, formed in 2020 with her sisters. Her festival invitations include the Kronberg Academy, the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival and the Festival de Fontainebleau.
