Biography
After a bachelor's in harpsichord at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Gyula Szilágyi completed a master's in harpsichord and clavichord in 2025 with Bernhard Klapprott at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar, and now studies harpsichord and fortepiano at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. As a continuo player he has performed with various ensembles, including at the Thomaskirche and Nikolaikirche in Leipzig and at the Güldener Herbst festival in Thuringia. He has held a scholarship from the zamus academy in Cologne and taken part in courses such as the academy of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.
