Biography
A French-Italian violinist and conductor, Emmanuel Resche-Caserta is the concertmaster of Les Arts Florissants and musical assistant to William Christie. Renowned for his deep mastery of French and Italian Baroque styles, he is frequently invited to lead or conduct prestigious orchestras, including Toronto’s Tafelmusik and the Drottningholm Slottstheater. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the Juilliard School, he also leads his own artistic research and performance projects globally. Author of the interview book Cultivating Emotion, he teaches baroque violin at the Amsterdam Conservatory and performs on a 1675 Francesco Ruggeri violin, on loan from the Jumpstart Jr. Foundation.
