Temple de Prangins

Prangins

A Baroque Masterpiece
Built between 1757 and 1761 under the patronage of Baron Jean-Georges Guiguer and architect Jean-Louis Bovet, this temple replaced the ancient Saint-Pancrace church. Regarded as one of the finest in the Canton of Vaud, it features a unique oval nave inspired by the designs of English architect James Gibbs. With its Louis XV stucco pulpit and 1979 organ, it stands as a monumental landmark facing the Castle’s courtyard.
