During the 2025 edition of the Prangins Baroque Festival, the audience was invited to a unique sensory immersion within the Swiss National Museum - Château de Prangins. These strolls, limited to an intimate group of 25 people, transcended a simple guided tour to become a living dialogue between historical architecture and the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach. Under the expert guidance of cultural mediator Sylvie Nickbarte, visitors explored the fascinating history of coffee’s introduction to 18th-century Europe, a theme echoing the famous Coffee Cantata by the Cantor of Leipzig. Artistic excellence was driven by an international distribution of young talents and members of the Prangins Baroque team: the crystalline voice of soprano Constança Pinter, supported by alto Antonio Gomez, intertwined with the rich textures of the baroque violins of Enesh Dzhanykova and Jenna Raggett. The continuo, the pillar of this sonic architecture, was performed with shared virtuosity by Clément Zanni (traverso), Jorge Municio Corcho (baroque cello), Manon Chapelle (viola da gamba), Pierre-Baptiste Brioude (theorbo), and a rare gathering of three harpsichordists — Agnes Blastik, Margit Jassó, and Xianmei Fang. This close collaboration between the Prangins Baroque Association and the Swiss National Museum offered a total experience, where early music rediscovered its original function: inhabiting the space and telling the story of humanity.
